The previous owners had left a large number of scratch marks from dragging furniture about and our redecoration work had also left quite a large amount of plaster and paint (both gloss and emulsion) on the floor. "...Lonan McDonald sanded our lower floors of about 450 sqft this week." We had oak floors laid about 18 years ago and bar cleaning by ourselves nothing had been done in the interim. They were very worn due to foot traffic and in the early days the movement of a powered wheel chair.
The work was carried out without fuss and mess and the floors now look better than when they were first installed.
I would also add that the price was reasonable and we are delighted with the result.
